Barnabas Ministries International exists to aid those in ministry to be successful in fulfilling the vision God has set before them.
 
Pat and Lynn Murphy, as a result of the passion God has given them for those in ministry, began to see a need for a ministry that would champion the cause of those in ministry.  Having served as pastors, teachers, missionaries, and support staff in the Local Church, Pat and Lynn know the stresses and trials that ministers face.  They have served when they felt like they were all alone, have pioneered churches, and have seen how hard ministers work to be successful.  The void of those who will come along side them as friends and co-laborers will now have a ministry dedicated to meeting the need, The Barnabas Project.

Firstborn of seven children, Pat has always known that he was called to ministry.  While other children found their heroes in policemen and firemen, Pat found his in pastors and teachers.  Until 1966 there was no understanding of how to get to the place God was calling him, but then God reached into Pat's life and led him to Christ.  Alive unto God, Pat began to discern that this relationship would amount to more than just "getting saved" or going to heaven.  God had a pan for his life and the nxt several years would be spent in discovering what it was and how to achieve it.
In 1986 Pat finally entered into full-time ministry and proceeded to immerse himself in all that God opened up to him.  Planting churches, teaching in Bible School, an instructor in a Christian high school, a headmaster in a school for troubled teens, and a pioneer in various ministries, Pat has had a great deal of wonderful insight into what it takes to be a success in ministry.  With a heart for ministers, Pat has consistently sought to encourage, uplift, and empower the ones called to build the Kingdom and broaden its influence on the earth.
Rev. Lynn Murphy 
The second of seven children, Lynn was raised in a Christian home.  Like you, Lynn had to come to a personal relationship with Christ and did while in Jr. High.  After graduation, Lynn moved to upstate PA and met Pat.  They married in 1975 and had five children.  Lynn too has a call on her life for ministry and has been walking out its discovery since she received Christ.
An amazing childrens minister, Lynn has a wonderful insight into what it takes to reach people.  Leading children, ministering to their parents, and supporting her pastors, Lynn has shown the hand of God upon her life.  She is an excellent teacher of the Word, an anointed worship leader, a wonderful manager of big events and an awesome pastor.  She has shown her ability to sustain a pioneered work, has built strength into an established church, and is the best partner Pat could ask for in the establishment of Barnabas Ministries International.
Lynn manages and ministers in our Barnabas House ministry located in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina.
